Annabel den Dekker (she/her) is a queer author from the Netherlands. When she’s not writing, she can be found strolling through nature, daydreaming about her favorite characters, or conjuring up new stories. She’s also an avid admirer of books, music, and TV series and delights in sharing them with others. 

After years of creating numerous short stories, novels, and fanfiction, she self-published her debut novel, Ailene. Purpose and Just Like Christmas followed only a year later. Now she is eager to add many more books to her repertoire.

Annabel’s short story “Valentini’s Day” appears in Craving You: A Spicy Valentine’s Day Anthology and her short story “The Day Before Life Begins” appears in Recipes for Romance: A Sweet Valentine’s Day Anthology, which was published in January 2025.
